There are 2 types of muscle fiber: Type 1 or Red in color and Type 2 or white in color.
A better understanding of a well-integrated posture is symmetry in all planes of movements and Type 1 muscle fiber should be well-trained. Corrective exercise at the first stage of Strength training is like building the very first foundation of your home. A balance and strong foundation supports all the planes of movements (muscle chain).
Staying with intensities between 60% to 75% of your Max Heart rate of corrective training will enhance your Type 1 fiber and the start of building the chains of movements. To Know more, get an assessment done by one of our ENGAUGE Coaches.
